Running horses

€5.000 (inc. 6% VAT, exc. transport etc.) Marijke A. Deege, teak, unique, 148 x 35 cm I carved this group of horses in a beautiful teak plank (if you click on the photo, you can see the relief in its entirety). Four are galloping, the fifth is hesitating and the sixth looking round. Is the group fleeing from approaching danger? Although teak is a hardwood and this plank is of the highest quality, I would not recommend that you hang this artwork outdoors. Hond aan de snuffel €995 (inc. 6% VAT) Marijke A. Yet the dog has a different opinion: a smell his owner finds repellent has very different qualities to his nose. It is a fact that a dog's sense of smell is 10,000 times better than that of its owner, and the dog's nose knows precisely what smells good. This artwork is a large piece of public art, but I still have the scale model in one of my studio display cases.
